●Maintenance manuals were required when selling imported machinery in Japan, but we had no knowledge on how to create one.
●The manual created by the overseas manufacturer was extremely simple and we believed it was necessary to enrich its content for the Japanese market. However, we did not know how to create one that would be appropriate.

Our production staff that have an extensive knowledge on manual creation proposed a manual that would be easy to understand for Japanese customers. A structure plan was created and document creation began after obtaining the client’s consent. Technical illustrations were applied to the required fields and the text was improved for Japanese customers.

Result
A manual appropriate for the Japanese maintenance environment was created. It included content crucial for maintenance and inspection. We received feedback stating that users tend to stay away from products with inadequate after-sales support, regardless of how great the products are. However, with this easy-to-understand manual, our client is now capable of selling the products confidently.
